Peru
Llama's home country
Peru is a country on the western coast of South America, bordered by Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, Bolivia, and Chile.
It encompasses diverse terrain from Pacific coastline to Andes mountains to Amazon rainforest.
Peru was the center of the Inca Empire and later a Spanish colonial hub; Machu Picchu and Lima remain major draws.
We're planning a trip to Peru next summer.
