cyclonic
Like a hurricane
Cyclonic describes rotation or weather systems that spin in the direction characteristic of cyclones—counterclockwise in the Northern Hemisphere, clockwise in the Southern.
The term applies to storms, wind patterns, and atmospheric circulation: cyclonic activity in the Gulf, a cyclonic vortex.
In meteorology, cyclonic flow moves around a low-pressure center.
