Grand Marnier
French cognac liqueur
Grand Marnier is a French liqueur combining cognac with bitter orange essence.
It appears in cocktails, desserts, and sauces—particularly those calling for orange-flavored spirits: crêpes suzette flambéed with Grand Marnier, a margarita made with Grand Marnier instead of triple sec.
The liqueur is sweeter and richer than Cointreau, its main competitor.
