Game Boy
Portable cartridge console
Game Boy is a handheld video game console made by Nintendo, first released in 1989.
Its compact design and interchangeable cartridges made portable gaming mainstream.
The name became generic for any handheld gaming device: He's always on his Game Boy.
Later models included Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, and various iterations before the Nintendo DS line replaced them.
