Mario is a puzzle video game franchise featuring Nintendo's Mario character as a physician who defeats viruses by matching colored capsules.
The original 1990 game established the formula: drop pill halves to create lines of four matching colors.
I've been playing Dr. Mario since the NES days.
The character appears in other Nintendo games as Mario's medical alter ego.
