French Polynesia

Pacific island collectivity

French Polynesia is a collection of over a hundred islands in the South Pacific, an overseas territory of France.

The islands include Tahiti, Bora Bora, and the Marquesas, known for tropical scenery and tourism.

Residents are French citizens, though the territory has considerable autonomy: We spent our honeymoon in French Polynesia.
