Paul Gauguin

Paul Gauguin was a French Post-Impressionist painter (1848–1903) known for bold colors, simplified forms, and scenes of Tahitian life.

He abandoned a career in finance and his family to pursue art, eventually settling in French Polynesia.

His work influenced Symbolism, Primitivism, and later modern art movements.

The museum's Gauguin collection draws visitors from around the world.
