Faroes

North Atlantic islands

The Faroes are an archipelago of eighteen islands in the North Atlantic between Norway, Iceland, and Scotland, forming a self-governing territory of Denmark.

Also called the Faroe Islands or Faeroe Islands.

The adjective is Faroese: Faroese wool, the Faroese language.
