FAQs

Anticipated user queries

FAQs is the plural of FAQ, short for "frequently asked questions"—a list of common queries with prepared answers, typically found on websites and in documentation: Check the FAQs before contacting support.

The format became standard in internet culture as a way to reduce repetitive inquiries.

Sometimes pronounced as a word (faks), sometimes spelled out (eff-ay-kyoos). (Lowercase faqs is informal.)
