Eastertide

Post-Lenten celebration period

Eastertide is the period of the Christian liturgical calendar extending from Easter Sunday through Pentecost, spanning fifty days.

The term sounds archaic or formal in everyday speech but remains current in religious contexts: The church decorates with white and gold throughout Eastertide.

The suffix -tide here means season or period, as in Christmastide or yuletide.
