EEGs
Cranial activity readouts
EEGs are electroencephalograms—recordings of electrical activity in the brain made by attaching electrodes to the scalp.
Doctors use EEGs to diagnose epilepsy, sleep disorders, and brain injuries.
The test produces wavy lines showing brain wave patterns: The EEGs showed abnormal activity in the temporal lobe.
Also refers to the machines themselves.
