Commodore 64

Classic home computer

The Commodore 64 was an 8-bit home computer released in 1982, named for its 64 kilobytes of RAM.

It became the best-selling single computer model in history, dominating home computing and gaming through the 1980s.

The C64's sound chip and graphics capabilities made it especially popular for games: I learned to program on a Commodore 64.
