Superposition-based calculator
A quantum computer is a computer that uses quantum-mechanical phenomena—superposition and entanglement—to perform calculations.
Where classical computers process bits as either 0 or 1, quantum computers use qubits that can represent multiple states simultaneously.
This allows certain problems to be solved exponentially faster than on conventional hardware: Quantum computers could eventually break current encryption methods.
The technology remains largely experimental, with practical applications still emerging.
