Chelsea Manning
Leaked classified documents
Chelsea Manning is an American activist and former U.S.
Army intelligence analyst who in 2010 leaked classified military and diplomatic documents to WikiLeaks—one of the largest security breaches in American history.
She was convicted under the Espionage Act, served seven years of a 35-year sentence before President Obama commuted it, and came out as a transgender woman while imprisoned.
