Bolshevists

Lenin's radical followers

Bolshevists are members or supporters of the Bolshevik faction, the revolutionary socialist movement that seized power in Russia in 1917 and established the Soviet state.

The term often carries hostile connotations, used by critics to suggest radical leftism, authoritarianism, or violent revolution: The newspapers warned of Bolshevists infiltrating the labor unions.

Now largely historical, sometimes deployed as a political slur.
