Three-wheeled Asian taxi

A tuk-tuk is a small three-wheeled motorized vehicle used as a taxi, common in Southeast Asia and other parts of the developing world.

Named for the sound of its engine, it typically has a cabin for passengers behind the driver: We took a tuk-tuk from the hotel to the market.

Also called an auto-rickshaw.
