live music
Bands playing now
Live music is a performance happening in real time before an audience, as opposed to recorded music.
The term emphasizes the presence of actual musicians playing: The restaurant features live music on weekends.
Live music carries connotations of spontaneity, atmosphere, and shared experience that recordings cannot replicate.
