Aliens

1986 action sequel

Aliens are beings from somewhere else—originally foreigners or outsiders, now most commonly extraterrestrial life forms.

In immigration law, an alien is a person who is not a citizen of the country where they reside: resident alien, illegal alien.

The adjective describes anything foreign or unfamiliar: an alien landscape, alien customs.

To alienate is to make someone feel estranged or excluded.
