Alice Cooper

Shock rock pioneer

Alice Cooper is the stage name of Vincent Furnier, an American rock musician who pioneered theatrical shock rock in the 1970s.

The name originally belonged to his band before becoming his solo identity.

His elaborate live shows featuring guillotines, snakes, and fake blood influenced generations of heavy metal and goth performers: Alice Cooper's stage show was pure horror theater.
