Saint Paul
Minneapolis's twin city
Saint Paul, also called Paul the Apostle or the Apostle Paul, was a first-century Jewish convert to Christianity whose letters to early churches form much of the New Testament.
Originally named Saul, he persecuted Christians before his dramatic conversion on the road to Damascus.
His writings shaped Christian theology profoundly, addressing faith, grace, and salvation.
Saint Paul is also the capital city of Minnesota, forming the Twin Cities with neighboring Minneapolis.
