Detroit River
Windsor-facing American strait
The Detroit River is a strait connecting Lake St.
Clair to Lake Erie, forming part of the border between the United States and Canada.
It flows past Detroit, Michigan and Windsor, Ontario.
Despite its name, the Detroit River is technically not a river but a natural channel linking the Great Lakes.
