Michael Bolton
Michael Bolton is an American singer and songwriter known for power ballads and covers of soul classics in the late 1980s and 1990s.
His dramatic vocal style and soft rock sound made him hugely commercially successful but also a frequent target of criticism and parody.
The name gained additional cultural currency from the 1999 film *Office Space*, where a character named Michael Bolton suffers constant jokes about sharing the singer's name.
