A4
European paper size
A4 is the standard paper size used throughout most of the world outside North America, measuring 210 by 297 millimeters.
It belongs to the ISO 216 system, where each size is half the area of the next larger size.
Print it on A4, not letter size.
Americans encountering European documents often need to adjust for the slightly taller, narrower dimensions.
