wrist wraps

Joint compression bands

Wrist wraps are strips of stiff fabric that weightlifters and other athletes wind tightly around their wrists for support during heavy lifting.

They stabilize the wrist joint and help prevent hyperextension when pressing or pulling significant weight.

Unlike wrist straps, which attach the hand to a barbell, wrist wraps provide compression and rigidity to the joint itself.

I always use wrist wraps on bench press days.
