wood pellets
Stove heating fuel
Wood pellets are small cylinders of compressed sawdust or wood waste, used primarily as fuel for heating stoves and boilers.
They burn more efficiently and cleanly than traditional firewood: We switched to a pellet stove last winter.
Wood pellets also serve as animal bedding and cat litter, valued for their absorbency.
