windbag
Never stops talking
A windbag is a person who talks too much, especially someone who speaks at length without saying anything substantial.
The term suggests someone full of air rather than substance: Uncle Frank is such a windbag—he talked for an hour and said nothing.
The word carries mild contempt but is more dismissive than truly hostile.
