babbler

One who prattles

A babbler is someone who talks rapidly, foolishly, or excessively—often revealing things they shouldn't: The babbler couldn't keep a secret.

The term also refers to any of various songbirds known for their noisy, chattering calls, particularly Old World species in the family Timaliidae.
