volcano god
Magma's divine ruler
A volcano god is a deity associated with volcanic activity in various mythologies, typically believed to control eruptions, lava flows, and the fiery forces beneath the earth.
Pele of Hawaiian tradition is the most famous example.
The term appears in discussions of mythology, fantasy fiction, and sometimes humorously to describe appeasement of powerful forces: We made our quarterly sacrifice to the volcano god of upper management.
