unplug

Pull the plug

To unplug is to disconnect something from an electrical outlet or other power source: Unplug the toaster before cleaning it.

The figurative sense means to disconnect from technology, work, or daily stress—to take a break and decompress: I'm going to unplug this weekend and leave my phone at home.

Unplugged also describes acoustic performances of music usually played with amplified instruments.
