sunlamp

Artificial UV source

A sunlamp is an electric lamp that emits ultraviolet light, used to produce an artificial tan or to treat certain skin conditions.

Before tanning beds became widespread, sunlamps were the primary way to get a tan indoors: She sat under a sunlamp for twenty minutes.
