Hebrew sunrise liturgy
Shacharit is the Jewish morning prayer service, the first of the three daily prayers in traditional Jewish practice.
It is recited from dawn until midday and includes the Shema, the Amidah, and Torah readings on certain days.
He davened shacharit at the synagogue before work.
Also spelled shaharit or shacharris. (Capitalized Shacharit is the same service.)
