morning service
Early church gathering
A morning service is a religious worship gathering held in the morning hours, typically on Sundays in Christian churches.
The term distinguishes it from evening or midweek services: We attend the 9 a.m. morning service.
In Judaism, the morning service (Shacharit) is one of three daily prayer services.
