evensong
Twilight church service
Evensong is a service of evening prayer in Anglican churches, typically held in the late afternoon or early evening.
It features sung psalms, canticles, and hymns, making it as much a musical event as a religious one.
Cathedral evensong draws both worshippers and tourists who come for the choral tradition.
We attended evensong at Westminster Abbey.
