seders

Passover ritual dinners

Seders is the plural of seder, the Jewish ceremonial meal held on the first night or two nights of Passover.

The seder follows a prescribed order of prayers, songs, and symbolic foods that commemorate the Israelites' exodus from Egypt.

We attended seders at my grandmother's house every year.
