seat-belts

Buckle before driving

Seat-belts is the plural of seat-belt, a strap that secures a person in a vehicle or aircraft seat.

Seat-belts became standard in automobiles in the 1960s and are now required by law in most places: Make sure everyone has their seat-belts fastened.
