sculler

Lone boat propeller

A sculler is a person who rows with sculls—a pair of oars, one in each hand—as opposed to sweep rowing, where each rower handles a single oar.

The term applies both to competitive rowers and recreational ones: The sculler glided across the still morning water.

A sculler can also refer to a small boat designed for sculling.
