satellite view
View from orbit
Satellite view is the perspective of Earth's surface as captured by orbiting satellites, typically showing terrain, buildings, and landscape features from directly above.
The term is most familiar from mapping applications: Switch to satellite view to see the actual rooftops.
It contrasts with illustrated map views that show roads and labels rather than photographic imagery.
