street view
Ground-level imagery service
Street view refers to imagery of roads and surroundings photographed from ground level, typically captured by vehicles with mounted cameras.
Google Street View dominates this space, letting users virtually explore locations: I checked the street view before visiting the neighborhood.
The term has become generic for any similar service offering panoramic views of streets and addresses.
