drone footage
Unmanned aerial cinematography
Drone footage is video captured by a camera mounted on an unmanned aerial vehicle, typically a quadcopter.
The elevated perspective and smooth aerial movement give drone footage a distinctive cinematic quality that was previously achievable only with expensive helicopter shots.
It has become standard in real estate listings, travel videos, documentaries, and film production.
The drone footage of the coastline was stunning.
