Seven-a-side football
Rugby sevens is a fast-paced variant of rugby union played with seven players per side instead of fifteen, on a full-sized pitch with shorter halves—typically seven minutes each.
The reduced numbers create more open play and higher scoring.
Sevens became an Olympic sport in 2016 and features prominently in international tournaments: The Hong Kong Sevens is one of the sport's most prestigious events.
