risograph
Soy ink duplicator
A risograph is a digital duplicating machine that prints by forcing ink through a stencil onto paper, producing a distinctive aesthetic with slightly imperfect registration and vibrant, saturated colors.
Originally designed for high-volume office printing, risographs have been adopted by artists and independent publishers for zines, posters, and art prints: We printed the zine on a risograph in three colors.
The process resembles screen printing but is faster and cheaper for short runs.
