rickroll
Deceptive video redirect
A rickroll is an internet prank where someone is tricked into clicking a link that leads to Rick Astley's 1987 music video "Never Gonna Give You Up." The bait-and-switch became a beloved meme in the late 2000s.
As a verb, to rickroll someone is to pull this prank: I thought it was the trailer but I got rickrolled.
