resample
Take another portion
Resample means to take a new sample from something that has already been sampled, or to select a different subset from existing data.
In statistics and computing, resampling involves drawing repeated samples from a dataset to estimate variability or test hypotheses.
In audio and image processing, to resample is to convert a digital signal to a different sample rate, either increasing resolution (upsampling) or decreasing it (downsampling).
The audio was resampled to 44.1 kHz for CD quality.
