WAV
Uncompressed audio format
WAV is a digital audio file format developed by Microsoft and IBM, storing uncompressed sound data.
WAV files preserve full audio quality but take up significant storage space, making them standard for professional audio editing and archiving: Export the track as a WAV before converting to MP3. (Lowercase wav is informal for wave.)
