relativity
Motion affects measurement
Relativity is the condition of being relative—dependent on perspective or frame of reference rather than absolute.
In physics, Einstein's theories of relativity describe how measurements of space, time, and motion depend on the observer's position and velocity.
Special relativity addresses objects moving at constant speeds; general relativity extends this to gravity and acceleration.
Outside physics, relativity often means that judgments vary by context: Morality has a certain relativity across cultures.
The casual use can imply that nothing is fixed or universally true.
