reflexion
Light bouncing back
Reflexion is a chiefly British spelling variant of reflection, covering all the same meanings: the image you see in a mirror or on water, the act of thinking carefully about something, or light and sound bouncing back from a surface.
The spelling with an x is older and closer to the Latin root, but reflection with a ct has become dominant in both British and American usage.
After some reflexion, she changed her mind.
