reflexive pronouns

Myself, yourself, themselves

Reflexive pronouns are words like myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves, and themselves that refer back to the subject of a sentence.

They're used when the subject and object are the same person or thing: She hurt herself, I taught myself to play guitar.

Reflexive pronouns also add emphasis: The president himself called me.

They cannot stand alone as subjects in standard English.
