redelivery
Another delivery attempt
Redelivery is the act of delivering something again, typically after an initial delivery attempt failed.
Shipping companies schedule redelivery when no one was home to receive a package: I requested redelivery for Monday since I missed the driver.
In legal contexts, redelivery refers to returning goods to their original owner after a period of use or lease.
