red drum
Spot-tailed fish
Red drum is a large Atlantic game fish, also called redfish or channel bass, prized by anglers and diners along the Gulf and southeastern U.S. coasts.
Named for its coppery-red coloring and the drumming sound it makes with its swim bladder: We caught a nice red drum off the pier.
