recti
Core anatomy group
Recti is the plural of rectus, a Latin-derived anatomical term for straight muscles.
The most familiar are the abdominal muscles running vertically along the front of the torso: six-pack abs are well-defined recti abdominis.
Other recti include muscles controlling eye movement.
